Baptism

This is a little overdue, but Emerson was baptized November 9. We went to St. Thomas the Apostle, where our favorite priest is, Father Denis. We haven't landed at a church yet in Columbus, so we've been church-hopping. Because of this, we decided that it was more important to have Emerson baptized by someone we know and love, rather than at a church in our neighborhood. We had a great day! After the baptism, we had about 25 people over the house to celebrate. Emerson was surrounded by his friends and family, including his god-parents, Auntie Jessi and Michael. We ate, and drank, and had a great time!

Emerson loved the water and oils!
If you look closely, you'll see the pacifier MID-AIR! It landed in the holy water! Thank you Baby Jesus for guiding it into the baptismal font and not letting it land on the floor! The Lineberger/Zielinski families (sorry Toledo, these are Jess's pics...I don't have the one of Zielinski/Jankowski families yet)
Emerson with his Poppy, and his adorable hat. He clearly loves it.
Finally...get-naked-and-play-time!

"You people don't even know the day I've had!!!"
