Hilton Head - September 2013 (Part 1 of 4)

We've been looking forward to this trip for months! The last week in September, we filled every inch of our car, and headed out for a week at beach house on Hilton Head Island. We've vacationed there before with our friends', but we had two sweet little additions this time around, Norah and Scarlet.

Here are a few pics from the first few days.

Emersonisms - October (Road Trip) Edition

We recently road-tripped it to Hilton Head to spend a week at the beach with our best friends, the Lipps. This meant a lot of time in the car with Scarlet and Emerson. Per the usual, Emerson had some interesting things to say. This is "what we heard from the backseat..."

But I'm glad to not be at school and soccer.

I needed some time to be alone with my family."

I don't know Em.

"That means I get to marry you."

Em, no. We don't say that. Who says that?

"Daddy said if someone eats too much cheese, their butt gets big."
