We had a great Easter weekend at home! The coloring eggs photos must be on the camera, so they'll have to wait for another post. If I wait for that, this Easter post may not happen until Thanksgiving. Who uses cameras any more?!?!
We had a great evening with Jason's parents, preparing for the Easter Bunny. Sunday morning, we headed to a very early mass, 8am (patting myself on the back) since we were hosting brunch.
| "What's that you say? A large bunny is going to break into our house, and hide our own eggs?" |
| Leaving a note for Mr. Bunny. He was very clear that he wanted Scarlet to get some nice things, and also wouldn't mind a few things for himself. |
| The Easter Bunny brought you swim stuff?!?! Perfect timing since we're headed to Florida in a month! |
| Family of four. I'm sure there's a better photo on the camera, but seriously...like those are EVER going to be uploaded! |
| Jessica Rabbit and Emerson...at least I think that's Emerson. Stinkin' comedian. |
| Brunch spread. Special thanks to Pinterest for nearly every recipe seen here. And that bacon you see in the lower left corner was gone about 8 seconds after this photo was taken. In our house, it's every-man-for-himself when it comes to bacon. |
| Emerson single-handedly found 48 eggs in the yard. With some help from the birthday boy Uncle Jared. |
| Playing along! |
| Happy birthday, brother! |
| Scarlet and the Uncle-Godfather (My Uncle-Godfather. Jared is HER Uncle-Godfather.) |
| Scarlet and Great Aunt Cheryl. This little girl gets passed around like a bottle of Crown. And loves it! |
| Winding down... |
| One of these two is "resting their eyes." And it's not Emerson. |
