Tubes!

Scarlet looks up to her brother in so many ways, and probably think she wants to be like him. She started early imitating his regular ear infections. Since the first week of December, she's been battling a double ear infection. Even with escalation in antibiotics, the little girl's ears just wouldn't clear. After a visit w. our favorite E.N.T. a week ago (Emerson was 14 months when he got tubes), we were quickly scheduled for tubes. On her 7 month birthday!

Turns out, there was serious goo in those ears of hers. After this surgery, and a few days on antibiotics and steroids, she should be good to go. We've already noticed, less than 24 hours after surgery, how much more she's chattering. She can likely hear both us, and herself, much more clearly! This is excellent news...since our house was so quiet before :/

Taking the nurse's pulse, while the nurse takes hers!

Seriously, how cute is that little surgery gown?!?!

Listening attentively to post-of care instructions.

We were home by 8:30 am, and after a 3 hour nap, Scarlet was ready to party!

A little sleepy, but sweet as ever.

Playing games with socks...

And just cracking herself up!

A little kissy time with her window self...
