Emerson took very quickly to potty training a few months ago. The only time we do a diaper/pull-up is overnight. Jason and I do not miss changing, or buying, diapers. There are so many
hilarious things about potty training, though.
For example...
- We disappeared into Max & Erma's bathroom for 15 minutes toward the end of a meal for Emerson to go number 2. Gone so long, that Jason nearly sent someone in to make sure we were ok.
- We are regularly asking if he has to go, as he gets very busy playing, and then makes a mad dash. Sometimes, it annoys even us, how much we talk about going to the bathroom.
- Emerson is VERY proud of his goings and when he's done he yells, "come see!"
- And we often let him find a private corner in the backyard, if we're hanging outside, for a quick pee.
He's taken this potty freedom to another level, as exhibited by the pictures below.

Can you see him by the front door up there by the bushes?

"Nothin' to see here, folks."

Walking away like nothing happened. Smart kid.
