Whirlwind weekend...

Life is a little crazy right now. Beyond the usually busy schedules of work, running, school, play, eat, etc. we've been dealing with a lot with my mom's health. A very turbulent time, to say the least.

My brother, Jared, celebrated his 22nd birthday a couple weeks ago, and his gift from his big sisters and brother-in-law was a ticket (and our company) for the Tim McGraw concert, Friday night. Some liquid therapy and cowboy boots was just what we all needed. Emerson got to hang with Auntie Terra and Uncle Andrew, who will have a little one of their own in just a few months!

(see a familiar face among those margaritas???)

Saturday morning brought rain. This was fine with us, since we were all worn out from the week and Friday night events. We laid low all day, and just enjoyed the down-time, which includes catching up on laundry and cleaning. We stayed in pajamas as long as was acceptable.

Sunday, we headed to Lancaster to spend time with Mia and Poppy. After lunch, we enjoyed some outside time, which for Emerson, included a couple impacts with the driveway. Check out that skinned knee!

Happy 3rd birthday, today, to Emerson's "big" cousin, Kendall!
