Mia and her elves.

I'm a bit behind on some posts I had hoped to complete, but this one took priority.
The Linebergers have always been a family full of tradition. And while those traditions have always been appreciated by the boys (Dad and Jared), they were held together by the girls (Mom, Jess, and Jan). From the annual ornaments and PJs on Christmas Eve, to the peanut brittle and buckeyes, to the Twig gift-wrap volunteering, to the abundance of must-watch Christmas movies, holiday traditions were over-flowing in the Lineberger household. We sang at ridiculous volumes to our favorite songs no one had heard of. We danced on kitchen countertops. We decorated every nook and cranny with giddy smiles across our faces. We have a crazy appreciation for Christmas.
With those traditions is a tradition of girls-only shopping. Times are tougher now. Not due to a recession, but due to illness. My mom (AKA Mia) is unfortunate enough to be dealing with a neuro-degenerative disease, that has severely limited her abilities. Well, screw that, we're going shopping.

And shop we did. Matching shirts and all.

So, to hell with limitations, it's Christmas, and we have traditions to maintain.
