Pollock Polok

Recently, I recalled a fond memory of making handprint cookies as a kid, and painting and decorating them to hang on the tree. You can picture them, right? Clay colored hand prints with a ribbon to hang. Seemed like a great craft during my time off to do with Emerson!

It turned into a three-evening project...with 1) baking, rolling and cutting salt dough, 2) painting and sealing and 3) decorating with pipe cleaners and glitter. The hand prints didn't turn out so well, but all the others (snowmen, gloves, angels, stars, trees) did! And it was so worth it! Holiday fun at its finest.

Such a good little helper! He loved wearing his Dad's apron (check out that Polish crest)!

Holding on tightly to his roller.

Doesn't get much cuter than this.

Love glitter glue!

His style is very "Pollock" with the splatter technique.
