Dentists and Motorcycles

Emerson had another dental check up this week, and got another, totally awesome shirt as a member of the no-cavity club. He has at least half a dozen of these. And wears them proudly!

What's most interesting about this successful trip to the dentist though, was when Emerson told his hygienist that his Daddy likes to drink beer and watch hockey games. As Jason was sitting right beside him.

As the school year comes to a close, lots of Emerson's school work has been coming home in his backpack. Loads of cool artwork, math activities, and Emerson-authored-and-illustrated books, including this gem. This page is one of four in a book where Emerson tells his story about when he went to the monster truck show with Jason, as well as few friends and their Dads.

"My Dad went poty wen the modrsickols came out. The monster trucks did a race."

Yes, apparently right before the show kicked off with a motorcycle race, nature called for Jason. A critical part of Emerson's plot to this story. I understand the drawing to be Jason and the door to the bathroom.
