Wintry Nights

Apparently, we've been so busy trying to stay warm, that I've not blogged in almost a month! January is always a month of decompression anyway, after the mayhem that is December.

In the last month, we've continued the efforts in selling our house. Lots of showings and interest. No offers. The fortunate part being, that we don't have to move. We want to move. So, I guess we have time to wait. Regular prayers to St. Joseph to expedite this process. Somewhere between Christmas and New Year's we finally made it to WildLights at the Zoo. We also brought Kramer back from the dead again this January. No trip to the vet is ever under $250, but I suppose we love our furballs. And this is about a tenth of what we spent reviving him last January. All about perspective. In January, we also caught up with all our dear friends that we couldn't connect with in December, including a playdate with Emerson's buddies Ivan and Everett. Also this January, we gave a shout-out to MLK, Jr. for his accomplishments, and for an extra day off work. We went to Disney on Ice, and left at intermission.

Just before we went on the carousel

Little boy in blue is having a ball!

Hanging at Mia and Poppy's house in Lancaster.

And his favorite Uncle, Jared. Emerson thinks Jared is his lackey. He'll yell for him from another room..."Jayed! JAYED!" It's usually to help assemble something, or lift him up to reach something, or to just play.

He won't be able to do this for much longer!

A random evening at our house...lining up the like toys.

Admiring his work.

Disney on Ice. We only made it to intermission. We were all ready to go. And I think Emerson only went for the popcorn and cotton candy.

Cooks in the kitchen.
