We’ve been soooo enjoying the sunshine in the evenings. Our weekends go so fast, that we squeeze in any and all outside time through the week as we can. Emerson’s playground is perfect for his age. We have lots of fun outside toys to keep him busy and can’t wait to get them all out! This past Friday, Jason and I enjoyed a beverage on the patio while Emerson was busy digging in his sandbox. Not only digging, but lying down in, scooping out and diving into his sandbox (literally, diving). Good thing he loves his showers, because as you can imagine, he had sand everywhere!
He also LOVES to swing. With all the fluid in his poor little head right now, I think he was getting a little dizzy, but he didn’t want to stop.
We had a group of friends over Saturday for a cookout and basketball. Always good times! It was warm enough that we ate outside and the kids played. After Saturday night, the weekend took a different direction with a trip to urgent care and an upper respiratory/ear infection. On the mend now, though.
